From 30th May to 7th June you could be a volunteer driver at the Birmingham Open – a fun, rewarding way to get involved in one of the city’s premier sporting events. Whether you’re passionate about tennis, enjoy meeting new people, or just want to give back to your community, we’d love to have you on our team.
United By 2022 are supporting the Lawn Tennis Association with this new
exciting volunteer role.

As a Volunteer Driver, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the Lexus Birmingham Open.
You will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and friendly transport services for players, coaches, officials, VIPs, and other accredited personnel. You will be one of the first points of contact for many key stakeholders, representing both the Tournament and the LTA with professionalism and warmth.
Reporting to the Volunteer Manager and Transport Manager, Volunteer Drivers will be trained in tournament transport processes and will operate scheduled journeys, ad-hoc trips, and venue-to-hotel shuttles using LTA-approved Lexus vehicles.

This is a new role, and United By 2022 are delighted to be supporting. In order to express your interest, you must first sign up to our Volunteers Collective. If you have volunteered with the tennis before, this will be quite similar to previous portals you have used.

Please note, there are two types of volunteering roles at the Lexus Birmingham Open – Spectator Services through Power of People and Volunteer Drivers through United By 2022 Volunteers Collective.
Volunteers will only be selected for one volunteering opportunity at the event, so please don’t apply for both.
