Wild Earth – An Ideas Made Real Case Study

A wildlife garden for the community, with youth mentors supporting young people to connect to nature. This garden is designed to support:

  • Young people with physical and mental health needs
  • Neurodiverse community
  • Bio-diversity – creating a positive impact on the environment

Wild Earth is a Coventry based Community Group, set up to connect young people and communities to nature, to improve mental health and wellbeing. We funded them £8,000 to rejuvenate their inner city allotment space.

Using this space, the team run workshops for young people with physical and mental health needs and the neurodiverse community, connecting them to nature and helping them to practice gratitude.

Additionally the improvements to the Wildlife Garden have increased the biodiversity, having a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
