We are on a mission to make the West Midlands a centre for inclusive growth.
The platform of the Games allows us to reach marginalised communities and neighbourhoods across the 7 Local Authorities.
We specialise in giving them the tools and skills they need to grow and succeed, enabling access to opportunities (funding, training, partnerships), which ultimately, tackles inequality and creates inclusive communities.
We offer a unique gateway for distributing funding, equipment and community support through:
We have a strong network of Community Groups across the Region. Our speciality is the unusual suspects, the hard to reach groups, to whom we act as a trusted advisor.
As part of the WMCA £70 million Legacy Enhancement Fund, we led on Community Engagement for the Inclusive Communities Funds. We engaged with 1,672 individuals from across the 7 local authorities, resulting in more than 1,400 applications and exceeding all targets for geography and EDI characteristics.
Our USP: we engage the unusual suspects and support more first time applicants to become funded.
We work with local charities and community groups to help build their resilience and readiness to successfully receive funding.
As part of our partnership with the WMCA and Heart of England on the £12 million Inclusive Community Fund, we worked with unsuccessful applicants, providing tailored feedback and development points.
We ran specialist workshops, webinars and 1:1 surgery slots which were attended by over 600 West Midlands based organisations.
Our USP: community led upskilling – through community consultations, we provide the training & resources community groups need and ask for
We run community consultations for a wide range of organisations who are looking to tap into the regional voice and insights of local communities.
This includes everything from:
Our USP: We champion the voices of local communities that are often overlooked.
